Since Oracle’s PeopleSoft applications are designed to address the most complex business requirements, when they approached EQHO for Thai localization services it was necessary to customize in order to comply with these processes and proprietary tools. We therefore assembled a full-time team of 15 linguists, engineers, testers and QA staff comprising multi-discipline linguists to handle different subject matter within the various application modules. This global leader in security software, pc optimization and privacy protection required EQHO’s expertise in Asian and European languages including Indonesian, Korean, Malay, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Turkish, Russian and Bosnian. Our services included translation, editing and language review using WorldServer, with word counts in excess of 280,000 per language.

EQHO provided this client with Indonesian and Thai translation and localization services including for UI and Help systems, and tested and placed its subject-specific linguistic resources. It was back in 2008 that ABBYY, an international software company providing optical character recognition, document capture and language software for both PC and mobile devices, first approached EQHO for European and Asian language localization services and UI and Help System localization. We therefore have an ongoing relationship with ABBYY and have localized FineReader, FineReader Lite, FlexiCapture, PDF Transformer, Recognition Server, and Lingvo Mobile products, whilst also developing and implanting customized localization work-flow and terminology management processes.
Alcatel-Lucent provides products and innovations in IP and cloud-networking, as well as ultra-broadband fixed and wireless access. Translation work was originally contracted to many vendors, but it was found that communications and delivery times could not be aligned as one. By contracting EQHO, Alcatel was able to simultaneously launch new products in multiple markets, which resulted in the product lifecycle being extended, revenues being generated quicker across all locales, and increased market share. EQHO provided localization services from English into Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese, as well as glossary development, translation, graphics localization, bug fixing, build verification testing, desktop publishing and final quality assurance checks.

Siemens was contracted to provide trains and system components for the ARL (Airport Rail Link) in Bangkok, Thailand, an over-ground elevated rail system linking the central city to Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
